Amy attended the High School in Miami. In 1995, she traveled to Plainville, CT, where she met her future husband, Robert (Bob) Belanger. They were joined in holy matrimony on August 5, 1999, and were married for nine years. Amy was blessed with one son, Richard, from a previous marriage and two step sons. In 2003, Amy and Bob headed south to Orlando, FL, to be reunited with Amy’s grandmother, Edna. Amy was highly regarded for her care giving abilities, kindness, generosity, moral leadership and dedication to her immediate family. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted sister and trusted friend, Amy was a loving mother, aunt, granddaughter whose spirit of strength and support will be greatly missed by each and every one of her children.
| Amy was predeceased by her parents, Mark and Theresa Allen, and a brother, Paul. She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob), son, Richard, step sons, Robert, of Bristol, CT, Christopher, of Orlando, Fl, sister, Gail, of Orlando, FL, grand mother, Edna, a niece and nephew, along with her beloved guide assistance dog, Emma. Service Information | A private memorial with close family and friends will be held from 11 am to 2 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 26th, 2009, at the Belanger residence in Orlando, FL.
